Qatar Emir Leaves for Uzbekistan

DOHA, Qatar: On Tuesday morning, the Amir, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, departed Doha and traveled to the neighbouring country of Uzbekistan.

The Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award winners will be honoured in a ceremony in Tashkent in collaboration with the UN, which the Emir will attend alongside President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The Amir and the President of Uzbekistan are scheduled to engage in discussions to enhance and foster bilateral relations. During the talks, they will also address various regional and international issues of mutual interest. A formal delegation accompanies the Emir.
