Abu Dhabi, : The stage is set for a dramatic double-header today at the Zayed Cricket Stadium as UAE Bulls prepare to face Quetta Qavalry in Qualifier 2, with Aspin Stallions lying in wait for the final later this evening in the 2025 Abu Dhabi T10.

Phil Salt’s electric 59 off 26 balls, featuring two fours and seven sixes, powered the Bulls to a commanding 47-run victory over Ajman Titans in yesterday’s Eliminator. The Bulls posted a record-tying 162/3, the highest total of the season, to book their place in today’s crucial Qualifier 2.

Reflecting on the Bulls’ progression through the knockout stages, Salt expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance: “To get a victory in the first game of the knockout is very satisfying.”

The English opener also highlighted the wealth of experience and talent within the Bulls squad, such as Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine: “Both of them are serial winners. At the ADT10 we see a good mix of talent from around the world. And then there are boys from the UAE. Junaid Siddique has been a huge asset for us.”

Standing in the Bulls’ way are Quetta Qavalry, who despite being the most dominant team of the season, come into Qualifier 2 on the back of two consecutive losses. The Qavalry, who topped the group stage with an impressive record, will be eager to rediscover their winning form at the crucial knockout stage.

Meanwhile, Aspin Stallions are already through to the final after their seven-wicket victory over the Qavalry in Qualifier 1. Wicketkeeper-batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz, who has been instrumental in the Stallions’ campaign, expressed confidence ahead of the title clash.

“The top of the table team is always a good team. It’s just good confidence for us to beat them for the finals as well. I think we will do very well in the finals.”

Gurbaz also shed light on his approach to leadership: “When you’re playing these kinds of matches and you play against good quality teams and bowlers; you need to give your players confidence. You can’t bring them down. As a captain, I always try to tell them to just keep enjoying and be positive about the way you guys are playing. Because everyone is a professional player and plays all around the world.”

The winner of today’s Qualifier 2 between UAE Bulls and Quetta Qavalry will face the Stallions in the final later this evening, with the 2025 Abu Dhabi T10 title on the line.
