Dubai: (By Suleman Jazib) The 77th Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated with immense enthusiasm in the United Arab Emirates. On 17th August 2024, a grand ceremony was organized by ‘Pakistanis in Dubai,’ the largest Facebook community group of Pakistanis in the UAE.

A large number of Pakistanis from across the UAE attended the event, uniting to express their love for their homeland. The ceremony, which began at 6 pm and continued till 11 pm, featured prominent personalities, families, and children.

The event included a variety of activities such as competitions, the singing of national songs, and a magic show for kids. Children participated in drawing competitions, while men and women showcased their cultural attire and took part in national song competitions.

Prizes were distributed among the participants, courtesy of Chacha Fluffy, Pindi Boys Restaurant, Al Nawab Restaurant, Karachi Grill, CRE8VE, Chai Shai Restaurant and Cafe, Hina Sufyan, Pindi Boys Restaurant & Cafe, Kishwarz Collection, My Dream Cake, and National Bank Pakistan. Additionally, a Umrah ticket was given away by AS Management.

TapTap Send, the event sponsor, provided valuable awareness about sending money to Pakistan through legal channels.

Nasir Bangash, the founder of Pakistanis in Dubai, extended his heartfelt thanks to the management team, including Sheikh Umar Farooq, Muhammad Zahaib Nabeel, Fahad Shahid, Rida Arslan, Asif Bilal, Ramsha, Zain ul Abideen, Nasir Gul Zaman, and Waleed Pervez, for their dedication and efforts in making the event a success.

Let’s Media Solutions, the media partner, expertly covered the event, ensuring every memorable moment was captured and shared with the community.

The ceremony concluded with the renewal of vows, the chanting of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans, and the cutting of a cake to mark the occasion.
