Cayman Islands:

The New Strikers made a strong comeback amidst a challenging run in Max 60 Inaugural edition. The New York Strikers defeated the Boca Raton Trailblazers and Grand Cayman Jaguars in high-stakes matches earning a double victory and guaranteeing their vital lineup against the Caribbean Tigers in the final championship game.

Talking about mindset of approaching the finals and winning both against Boca Raton Trailblazers and Grand Cayman Jaguars, Colin Munro shares, “We haven’t really been tested beyond 100 runs, so our approach is to stay aggressive and seize the opportunity. With nothing to lose and everything to gain, we’re focusing on playing with freedom and confidence.
The New York Strikers strong lineup has contributed to their success from the beginning of the campaign. The Strikers have regularly achieved outstanding results thanks to their batting lineup of gold-standard players like Colin Munro, Thisara Perera, Brandon McMullen, Isuru Udana and bowling tandem of Mitchell Owen and Carlos Brathwaite. Their desire for major success has been evident all season long as they have performed at a high level and emerged victorious from tough opponents like the Miami Lions, Boca Raton Trailblazers and Cayman Jaguars.
The New York Strikers will take on the Caribbean Tigers in what is expected to be the ideal cap to the Max 60 league in the Cayman Islands.
