Dubai,
Desert Vipers Head Coach Jame Foster is confident that the very talented, match-winning Pakistani batter Azam Khan will perform to his potential in coming matches for the team.
Speaking to the Vipers Voices podcast, James Foster described him as a match-winner and said he wanted Azam to continue to believe in himself: “Sometimes it happens in a season, that not necessarily every single player fires, but I have got confidence in Azam. He is an absolute star, and he is someone who I admire a lot and the way he is so destructive with the bat.
“He is a match-winner, and I know that he is a player that opposition bowlers and teams fear. So it is just about reminding himself how good he is. And he is a very good player.
“He just needs to trust and remember his mindset, his game plan and continue to bring that belief, which is what these top players do. He just needs that little bit of luck to go his way.
“And as it has actually turned out, because our top four or five batters have gone so well, he has not had a lot of opportunity (to bat). But he is always smiling and he brings his energy and we are looking forward to Azam hopefully doing his stuff.
