The visionary behind Lumos, Ms Smitha Paul, Founder & Head of BTG (Bridge the gap) Education consultancy & Training services, is to create opportunity & platform for gifted & talented students all across in UAE.
Our 1st event was conducted successfully in Dubai emirate at Glendale international school, in Nov 2024.
2nd event, held on 1st Feb was in Sharjah emirate @ Ambassador school and we plan to conduct the same in other emirates as well by end of of 2025.
Gifted children are those with exceptional IQ Level with exceptional ability in specific academic area & cognitive skills & talented students are exceptionally talented in skills related to non academic.
Hence Lumos is the ideal platform for children of age grp 6yrs-17yrs to showcase their talents and abilities in unconventional way.

How LUMOS is different from other competition?
Unlike other competitions, we do not give topics & details in advance, children are given on the spot topic and some time to prepare before presentation.
We also encourage students to participate in other activities even though they have not registered for the same and to our surprise, 80% of children have opted to participate in new activity which they have been familiar with and have been able to leave with great learning & sense of pride.
Lumos is all about coming out of comfort zone and taking the first step towards success by exploring the uncharted territory.

Every participant received participation certificate and a goody bag, winner received gold or silver medals and spl gifts and certificate.

Complimentary snacks were given to participants.

Message to parents:
Don’t evaluate the learning journey of your child through such competitions with winning prize & registration fees but with everlasting impact to face any challenge in life helping them to become a successful individual.

Special mention for Ambassador school principal, Mr Arogya Reddy who was also our special guest, for opening their doors to host this event for the benefit of children of UAE. He is a true reflection of an empathetic leader which reflects in every staff of the school. Ambassador school is a CBSE curriculum with Very good rating & good facility for children’s development, learning & growth.

Volunteers from various field who contributed towards the success of the event.

Special guests: Mr Frando, Business man & Executive Director for Human endeavors & for quite a few other leading companies.
Mrs Regi Abraham, retired educationist with 27 yrs service for children and community.
Ms Shanthi Venkatraman, Vice Principal of Ambassador school.
