Dubai, The DP World International League T20 has announced the winner of its inaugural Mascot Design Competition, held from 4 July to 21 September across the UAE. Levin Veeroy Fernandes’ creative characters, “Habibi and Habibti,” were selected as the winning entry and officially unveiled as the league’s mascots during a ceremony at the Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Indian High School, Oud Metha.

The competition received an overwhelming response from students nationwide, showcasing the exceptional creativity, passion, and enthusiasm inspired by cricket among UAE youth. The initiative successfully united students, schools, and communities in a celebration of sport and culture.

During the ceremony, Levin’s design was brought to life on stage to enthusiastic applause from attendees, marking a proud moment not only for the young designer but also for all participating schools across the UAE.

The DP World ILT20 extended its appreciation to all participants for making the contest a resounding success, noting that each submission reflected unique ideas, talent, and imagination—reinforcing the league’s commitment to nurturing young talent and promoting cricket in the region.

DP World ILT20 CEO David White said:
“On behalf of the league, I extend my heartfelt thanks to all participants. Your creativity and passion made this initiative truly special. The DP World ILT20 is deeply committed to supporting the growth of cricket among youth in the UAE. The sport has brought together communities here for over four decades, and the future of cricket in the UAE and Gulf region remains bright and exciting.”

Indian High Schools Group CEO Shri Punit MK Vasu added:
“This collaboration offers our students a special opportunity to experience world-class cricket while learning the values the sport embodies—discipline, teamwork, leadership, and resilience. These lessons shape students into responsible and purpose-driven global citizens.”

The DP World International League T20 Season 4 will begin on Tuesday, 2 December 2025 (UAE National Day), featuring a blockbuster opening ceremony. The six-team, 34-match tournament will conclude with the final on Sunday, 4 January 2026.
