Pakistan Navy Flotilla arrived Dubai

Dubai: Pakistan Navy Flotilla comprising Pakistan Navy Ship MADADGAR and Pakistan Maritime Security Ship ZHOB arrived at Port Mina Rashid Dubai on 08 Jan 24. The ships are on good will cruise to brotherly Gulf country UAE from 08 Jan 24 to 11 Jan 24. The ships were received by Consul General of Pakistan Mr Hussain Mohammad and High officials of UAE Navy. PNS MADADGAR is a multipurpose Small Tanker cum Utility Ship while PMSS ZHOB has been designed for law enforcement and policing at sea. PNS MADADGAR and PMSS ZHOB have been indigenously built in Pakistan.

Pakistan and UAE enjoy close diplomatic ties and cordial relations. Pakistan Navy and UAE Navy also enjoy cordial ties over the years. In this regard, frequent visits by both navies are a regular feature that includes PN participation in

IDEX/NAVDEX-23 and the Bilateral Pakistan – UAE Exercise Nasr-al-Bahar is a regular feature which is the manifestation of PN desire to foster close ties between the two navies. The visit of PN Flotilla aims to further strengthen these relations. Pakistan believes in promotion of peace and stability and global commons and has remained committed to the security, safety and stability in the maritime arena. Pakistan Navy remains steadfast in combating terrorism, piracy and other illegal activities at sea. The two nations recognize the importance of a coordinated approach to counter emerging threats and maintain a robust defense posture. The shared commitment for ensuring regional peace and stability solidifies military ties, fostering mutual trust and understanding. This collaboration not only strengthens bilateral relations but also contributes to the broader security landscape in the Middle East, reflecting a strategic partnership that addresses common security concerns and promotes regional cooperation.

Officers and men of PN Flotilla will remain engaged in various interactions during the Port visit to ensure continuity of strong bilateral collaboration. PN ships will host an official reception onboard. Ships will also be open to visitors from Pakistani and local community during stay at port.
