Qatar and France have brokered a deal with Israel and Hamas to deliver urgent medication to some 45 Israeli hostages held by the group in Gaza in return for humanitarian and medical aid for the most vulnerable civilians. “While I was heading to the fishing site, I saw a person wearing a life jacket in the distance being carried by waves, so I rushed to him, only to find that he had nearly drowned and was exhausted. CAIRO: Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has said killing of Palestinians and displacing them from their homeland cannot be accepted. Doha-based Al Jazeera TV on Sunday reported that emir termed the Palestinian cause as an issue of principle.
